INTER-RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR PEACE

In the beginning, this NGO started its activities at a very small scale, within the city. As it was said earlier, there was a large minority of Christian (0.5 million), in the city, the main objective was, to establish harmony among the two communities. Since then, the PCSWHR has taken very bold steps in this regard and the sphere of activities has been widened. Now the Council is in contact and working with many renowned Organizations in different countries i.e., United Kingdom, Philippine, Romania, Thailand, Kenya, UAE, UN General Assembly and USA. A number of the National & International Organizations have constant contact and working relationship with PCSWHR on the issues of Inter religious understanding & harmony.  

In this regard, a delegation of PCSWHR attended “XII International Peace Conference”, Bucharest Romania, “Regional Conference” on Muslim-Christian Cooperation and Understanding, Manila Philippine and other International centers in the World.

PCSWHR has profound participation in “Shanti Nagar” issue and involved deeply for collective efforts for the protection of human rights. PCSWHR displayed walks and seminars on Christians, Muslim relation ship and rehabilitation of social trust for the protection of humanity. PCSWHR believes upon the religious unity and social tolerance and it work for the well being of Christian, Muslim working relation ship. Such relation ship depends upon the religious unity for global peace, social justice and equality.

For achieving the goals of this NOBLE project PCSWHR is working on Inter religious harmony in society with a full fledge Department of Inter religious relations & minority rights under the one highly skilled director & TEN  official field staff members.

FUTURE PLAN

The NGO has plan to enhance its circle of services in the field of inter religious through Pakistan in near future. Even with the collaboration of international agencies working on the similar noble cause.

To ensure the vast knowledge and study on the Inter religious relations, harmony, research and monitoring  the establishment of inter religious dialogue study centers, is one of important future plan of NGO, which will be a source of study, mutual dialogue, research, and publication on this noble field.

To insure the community participation & creation of better sustainable, harmony & understanding on inter religious matters. The  NGO will continue the establishment of community base groups at gross root level under the banner of NGO.
